April 13, 1978
With the purchase of 859-871 Lakeview Ave in Lowell, MA, Jack Bush & Jack Watson start a company and partnership.
Jack & Jack continue to invest and expand. Their portfolio grows to over 400 units owned & managed!

Jack Bush manages the Lowell portfolio through a company which will become known as Heritage Properties.
Brian Bush takes the reigns from his father as President of Heritage Properties.

Notwithstanding challenges during the Great Recession, the Bush Watson shared portfolio reaches 2009 with 900+ units owned and managed across New England.
Heritage Properties closes out a decade that included the loss of Jack Bush, the first new construction project and historic rehabs, and expansion into RI.

Brian Bush passes the torch to his son, Jeff, who becomes the third generation of the Bush family to lead Heritage Properties.
Heritage Properties moves into a new historic office space in Lowell and expands into Worcester, MA with the addition of The Kiln.

Brian Bush
Partner
Brian has been a leader at Heritage Properties since 2001, and has been a real estate and construction professional since 1986. He has considerable construction and operational experience in single-family and multifamily communities, and he has achieved IREM’s Certified Property Manager designation (CPM), and holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License (unlimited). He is a graduate of St. Anselm College.
Chris Petersen
Vice President
Chris manages a portfolio of multifamily assets consisting of nearly 900 units across 12 sites. He is responsible for corporate finances, reporting and budgeting. Chris also assists with the lender financing for acquisition and disposition of both the residential and commercial portfolios that we manage. He has earned IREM’s Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Anselm College.

Meaghan Mannion
Senior Property Manager
Meaghan joined the Heritage Properties team in August of 2023 as Senior Property Manager for our Lowell portfolio. With almost ten years of industry experience, Meaghan has a successful history of streamlining property management processes and consistently delivering a high level of quality for residents. Prior to joining the Heritage team, Meaghan oversaw operations at various developments across New Hampshire and served as Property Manager for a range of large residential communities in Massachusetts. Meaghan is a graduate of the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, where she received a bachelor's degree in hospitality management.
Ashley Knowlton
Leasing Manager
Ashley joined Heritage Properties five years ago as a Leasing Agent and was promoted to Leasing Manager in November 2025. With 12 years of experience in property management, Ashley brings extensive industry knowledge and a strong operational background to her role. Prior to joining Heritage, she served as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer of a property management organization, developing strategic insight into portfolio operations and executive-level management. Ashley now oversees leasing operations across the portfolio, working closely with on-site teams, prospective and current residents to ensure a seamless leasing experience.
Jeff Bush
President
As President, Jeff works closely with the senior management team in overseeing the staff and operations at Heritage Properties. Jeff joined Heritage Properties in 2016 as an analyst, where he was tasked with identifying, inspecting, and closing new acquisition, redevelopment, and investment opportunities. He continues much of this work in his role as President. Jeff graduated from Brown University and holds a certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University. Prior to coming to work at Heritage, Jeff worked as a special education teacher on Cape Cod. Jeff holds a board seat on the House of Hope and enjoys all things outdoors – particularly swimming, biking and running.
Danielle Guffy
Regional Manager
Danielle joined Heritage Properties in 2017. Danielle has been engaged in the Property Management Industry for five years prior to joining the Heritage Properties' team. She has achieved IREM's Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification. In addition, Danielle has her BS in History from Rhode Island College and a MA in Public History from Southern New Hampshire University. Danielle took on our Operations Manager position where she will be using her background in Property Management to further promote the growth of Heritage Properties. As of June 2021 Danielle was promoted to our Regional Manager position where she oversees multiple managers for sites in the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island areas.
Catey Larochelle
Community Manager of Waterhead
Catey joined the Heritage Properties team in 2021. Catey has advanced through each position she has held with Heritage, bringing her to her current role as Community Manager at Waterhead. A dedicated property management professional, Catey leverages her industry experience and organizational skills to deliver thoughtful, efficient service for both prospective and current residents. Catey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Southern New Hampshire University.
Mike Bryant
Maintenance Superintendent
Mike joined Heritage Properties in 2025 as Maintenance Super. With more than 20 years in commercial and residential property management, he brings extensive experience in day-to-day operations, overseeing teams, and prioritizing preventive maintenance. In his current role, Mike ensures our properties are well-maintained and running smoothly.
Mindy Diamantopoulos
Chief Operating Officer
Mindy is responsible for all the residential property management operations at Heritage Properties. Mindy has risen through the ranks due to her great skills and personality. Mindy oversees all properties and staff and is the key operations person in the Organization. She has achieved IREM’s Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation. She also holds a Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) for Low Income Housing Tax Credit. She holds a BS in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University.
Greg St. Hilaire
Project Superintendent
Greg started with Heritage Properties in 2016 as the Groundskeeper and has worked his way through several positions to his current one as Project Superintendent. In his current role, Greg is responsible for overseeing all renovation work throughout the entire portfolio.
Nelson Rivera
Staff Accountant
Nelson joined the Heritage team in 2025 as a Staff Accountant. With a strong foundation in financial reporting and accounting, Nelson plays a key role in supporting Heritage's financial operations across our portfolio.
