Although we’re almost into the new year, 2021 is still bringing exciting developments for the Heritage Properties team. For our next Property Spotlight series, we wanted to introduce the latest addition to our portfolio: The Belmore. Our second acquisition in Rhode Island following Grant Mill, The Belmore is a newly renovated residential community that features modern apartments with timeless appeal.
The Belmore’s one- and two-bedroom apartments feature private balconies, spacious layouts, and a variety of on-site amenities. Select apartments include stainless steel appliances, new wood plank flooring, granite countertops, and new cabinetry. Community amenities include off-street parking, on-site laundry facilities, a courtyard, and local management and maintenance teams. The thoughtfulness of the interior spaces is also reflected throughout the building’s exterior, with classic brick and stonework within the professionally landscaped courtyard adding to The Belmore's charm.
The Belmore is conveniently located in North Providence, a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from the attractions of downtown Providence. North Providence provides residents with a small-town feel while still being only a few miles from the city’s best restaurants, museums, shopping and more. North Providence is a short drive from Providence College and Rhode Island College, and minutes from local hospitals, shopping centers, and schools. Located at 250 Smithfield Road, The Belmore’s residents can also enjoy quick access to all of the scenic areas, parks, and waterfront landmarks that Rhode Island is known for.
The property was built in 1968, and interior and exterior features have both been recently renovated and thoughtfully redesigned. The Belmore’s history and its renovation process influenced the property branding, and the Heritage team worked to develop a new logo and website that could reflect both The Belmore’s mid-century beginnings and its modern upgrades. Incorporating a contemporary, vibrant color palette with mid-century shapes and style, The Belmore’s updated branding speaks to the property’s unique history and background while still being in tune with its’ timeless appeal.
