The People of Heritage: Celebrating John Donley

At Heritage Properties, we believe that putting people first is at the core of everything we do. For John Donley, our Employee of the Quarter for Q2, this commitment shines through in the way he supports his residents, teammates, and communities every day. 

Q2 also marked a major milestone for John: his 9-year anniversary with Heritage Properties! Since joining the team, John has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a positive attitude that makes a lasting impression on everyone around him. 

“John is always willing to go above and beyond, whether it’s helping a resident, supporting a teammate, or stepping in wherever he’s needed,” said Danielle Guffy, Regional Manager at Heritage Properties. “You can always count on him.” 

John takes the time to build lasting relationships with the people who call a Heritage community home. He knows his residents by name (and, if you’re a four-legged resident, there’s a good chance John knows you, too!) He’s known to keep dog treats in his pocket for his residents’ pets at our pet-friendly communities in Providence, RI.  

That people-first approach is what makes John such an important part of the Heritage Properties team. Whether he’s helping a resident or supporting a teammate, John consistently demonstrates our core values. His nine years with Heritage are a testament to this, and winning Employee of the Quarter is a well-deserved recognition of the impact he makes every day. John’s commitment to the people around him helps create a sense of community across our Providence portfolio.
